I really look forward to the weekends, although I don't know why. I usually have to work every weekend. I guess it's just the whole idea of the work week being over and the thought of being able to relax. There are a lot more things to do on the weekends in MI then there were in P'Cola. I scan the paper every Friday for the upcoming Apple Festival or Greek Festival or St. Somebody-I've-Never-Heard-Of Festival. Also, football season has started again and every Michigan State, U of M and (surprisingly) Ohio State game is on TV here! I also have my new home team Lions every Sunday afternoon. I guess I just enjoy the idea of weekends.

Who is the easiest person for you to talk to?
That one's easy ~ Vickie. I used to talk to Jeannine sometimes, too, if I needed to vent about a problem Vic & I might've been having. Now that Jeannine is so far away, I guess Vic & I can't have any more problems!

If you could live in any ancient city during the height of the quality of its society and culture, which one would you choose?
My first thought is Rome because of how technologically advanced they were. It would be interesting to see the beginnings of politics, too. But only if I was one of the politicians.

What is the most exciting event you've ever witnessed?
The 1980 US Hockey team beating Russia. I was only about 15 and was watching it on the TV, but I remember that it was so exciting that I kept moving closer and closer to the screen until I was right on top of it. I yelled and screamed at the top of my lungs! It still gives me goosebumps when I see replays of the game on TV. My second choice would have to be experiencing Hurricane Ivan, although that was more terrifying than exciting. I have a small idea of what the Katrina victims are going through. Although we didn't lose the house, we were without electricity for two weeks. That's a lot of cold showers (when the water was turned back on after three days!)!

If you were a celebrity, what would you do for a publicity stunt?
Have an affair with Angelina Jolie or get engaged to Katie Holmes.

What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child?
I'd have to say 26. Your body is still young enough and you've had time to experience some things in your life you may not get to after having a child.
