Oh my god it's hot this morning! It's about 10 degrees past boiling. I put the dog out & she melted as soon as she hit the back porch. She was a Shannonsicle. According to The Weather Channel, the temperature is 79 but feels like 83 with 89% humidity. In our new area code the temp is 53 and feels like 53 with 76% humidity. Sounds like Warren is the better deal! It seems like Summer is starting early this year in Pensacola. Maybe it's always gotten this hot this early in the year and, after all these years, I just still haven't gotten used to it. For me, the summer months are just a killer. I love to sit outside, but from May till about October it's just so oppressively hot during the day and mosquitoey at night that I spend most of the season inside in the air conditioning. At the new house, we've got a big back yard with a nice little patio. I can't wait to listen to Tigers games on the radio while swinging in the hammock!
