Today was my first day of work at the new job. But not really. The whole day was spent in orientation. These are my favorite kind of workdays ~ you get paid to sit around listening to other people drone on about "the mission," "the vision", workplace diversity, zero-tolerance regarding all forms of abuse, and most importantly, the proper way to wash your hands. And they feed you donuts and lunch and other assorted snackies! If I could just find a job that involves 40 hour orientation sessions every week I'd be in heaven!
I also got my employee badge. It doesn't look bad!

- I live just a few miles north of Detroit with my girlfriend Vickie, our dog Megan, and a dozen or so cats. I recently graduated with an A.S. in Surgical Technology. I spend most of my time cross-stitching, scrapbooking and just exploring new places I haven't seen before. If I could, I'd be traveling all the time!

If I haven't said it already, congratulations on your new job. I'm glad your badge looks good. I got my new driver's license last Thusday - OMG. To make it worse, it was really hot and humid,so my face was red and sweaty and my hair flopped.
