I've been diagnosed with "inflammation of the rotator cuff tendon." I guess I should be happy that I don't have a tear or something worse. It's still hurts like hell though. I have to go to therapy 3x/week and I have exercises I have to do at home in between sessions. They're mostly strengthening and range of motion exercises, but they still burn.
It's amazing how much I do with my right arm. Not just the obvious stuff like writing or typing, but also opening a door and lifting a can a pop to take a drink. My right arm is almost totally helpless. And it sucks! The simplest activities like brushing my teeth or washing my hair are painful. I know the inflammation will eventually subside, but it could last for weeks and school starts in just 2 short weeks!
Back to exercising!

I can totally sympathize. I fell on the sidewalk a few years ago and fractured my elbow (head of the radius). As long as I didn't move it (a sling helped)I was fine but if I moved it it hurt like 12 on a scale of 1-10.
I know what you mean about not being able to do things like washing my hair. Even after it pretty much healed I couldn't slice a loaf of bread, use a pair of scissors or use a corkscrew for months. (Horrors on the last one!)
I hope you heal really fast.
