a rubberband stretched to her limit

Sorry to have been such a bad blogger lately. School is just eating me alive. Week 2 just ended yesterday, which means I've been totally f**cking stressed for 2 straight weeks! I've never ever been like this. I actually burst into tears in the car driving from school to work.

So, after a little "talking to" from Vic, I am going to try my damndest to de-stress. I'm really really super-worried about passing this program and that has pretty much just taken over my life. Not any more! Starting today I'm going do other stuff. By that I mean I'm going to try to read at least one chapter a day from a book that has nothing at all to do with school. I'm going to take time out to enjoy our newly sprung sunflowers and snapdragons. And I'm going to make sure I hug Vic at least once a day, even if I have to wake her up to do it!

I'm going to be the best damn stress-free Surg Tech I can be.

I find that a 30 minute run helps me de-stress.

While the stress is bad now, you probably won't have to deal with it like this once you actually start working as a surgical tech. So, chin up, sister! Once it's all done, you'll have a cool new career!

Shawn's right - think of the outcome. Take a few minutes and sit outside with Shannon, have fruity drinks with umbrellas in them! Miss you!

Or, you could go through all this shit and be 2 months post graduation and still not have a job. Sorry, trying not to be toxic and bitter...
