Snowy Sunday
Early Saturday evening the snow really started to come down. It was like a hurricane of snow! Lots of wind and huge flakes everywhere. And very pretty to watch. So we took a few pics and I thought I'd share them with everyone. (I'm not especially good with multiple photos in my blog, so I hope they come out okay.)
This is the view from our backporch late Saturday night. 
We woke up to 7" of beautiful white snow. This is me on our patio in the backyard! I really needed that nose mitten ~ it was chilly out!
Shannon absolutely loves the snow! She normally wakes up, stretches and comes downstairs, but today she bounded downstairs cuz she knew there would be plenty of snow to play in.
She especially likes playing ball in the snow. She doesn't have to chase after the ball, but she gets to dig around in the snow. Buried treasure!
And of course snow angels!Vic has been really good about feeding the backyard birdies during the snowy months. We get a lot of cardinals and starlings...and fewer pigeons than we do during the Summer!

Beautiful pictures! And congratulations on finishing school this semester. I finished up on Thursday and don't start back until Jan. 7. Yay! I have much Christmas shopping to do. I've bought maybe 6 things.
