Frankenmuth

Today the girls & I took a ride to Frankenmuth, about an hour north of here. We got off to kind've a late start (I always sleep too late!), but still managed to have a great time. It's a little town with everything German and lots of stores filled with stuff I don't need but must have! We had a beautiful sunny day to walk around town in and the rain held off until we were in the car on the way home. We got home in time to watch both the Tigers and the Pistons lose. Not a good night for Detroit sports. At least now Vic doesn't have to watch any more basketball. But of course this frees up more nights for baseball!

How to be a dog mom. When Shannon found us she was already potty trained and had a wonderful personality. I was lucky enough to avoid the pitfalls of puppyhood and to have a dog that was patient with me while I was learning how to be a good mom.
